Help understanding MLA format.

by Jana
(New York)

I just started college this semester. My college comp class requires that we use MLA citation for research papers. I have a big paper due for the final and I'm still struggling.

Can you help me with in text citation and the references page?

Specifically, I need help citing sources from online and from places that don't give all of the publication data or maybe the author's name.

Thank you for helping out.

Mary's Response: Jana, I am working on an MLA page that will answer this question. But I don't have the answer yet. Can anyone with MLA experience offer some insight?
