Name Changes

by Carl

I am writing a "memoir" of my three year hardcore heroin addiction. In the story I have changed the names of some of the people who are still alive today.

I want to dedicate the book to some of those people as well.
Despite their names being changed in the story, should I use their real names in the dedication?

You can use their real names as long as you won't be connecting them directly with the names you gave them in the book in the dedication.
